Empowering adolescent girls for a brighter future.
Supporting girl education, menstrual and reproductive health.
Mission Statement:
To empower adolescent girls to stay in school and achieve academic success by providing them with comprehensive menstrual health education, access to hygiene products, and advocating for improved school infrastructure, including sanitation facilities. We work to break the cycle of absenteeism and stigma surrounding menstruation and hormonal abnormalities, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all girls.
Menstrual & Reproductive Health
Many students can't afford or lack access to menstrual products like pads or tampons. This can lead to girls staying home from school due to fear of leaks or using unsanitary alternatives. We work with with community leaders and schools to provide access to menstrual products and conduct training/ Information sessions to adolescent girls on menstrual and reproductive health that will improve their educational performance and keep them in school.
Support for Communities
We act as a vital bridge between students and the resources they need to succeed. By working with local schools and community centers, We identify families facing financial hardship and fundraise and organize donation drives to provide essential school supplies like textbooks and uniforms and laptops to ensure students have access to technology, a crucial tool in today's education landscape. This multi-pronged approach levels the playing field, allowing students to focus on learning without the burden of unmet material needs.
EduChongwe School Project
Recognizing the importance of education as a pathway out of poverty. This initiative addresses a critical need, providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Without this school, children may be forced into child labor or lack access to qualified teachers and a structured curriculum. The new school will equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to reach their full potential, breaking cycles of poverty and creating a brighter future for themselves and the entire community.
